Judith A. Haas' Obituary
Judith Ann Haas, 83, a longtime resident of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024. Born on October 3, 1940, in Buffalo, New York, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Julia Kruse.
Judith dedicated her working career to the Aquarium Industry, where her passion and expertise in fish and other aquatic creatures were widely recognized. Her wealth of knowledge enriched the field and inspired others.
Beyond her professional life, Judith found joy in her hobbies. She loved crocheting, playing cards, and Yahtzee. However, her greatest love was her family, and she embraced life with enthusiasm. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Thomas Haas; her son, Brian and daughter, Deborah; as well as her granddaughter, Emma.
Judith is survived by her loving children, Cynthia Haas, Gregory Haas and Juliana Haas; one brother, Frederick Kruse; eight grandchildren, Bradley, Matthew, Shannon, Marc, Zachariah, Ashley, Breana and Joshua; as well as 12 great grandchildren, Amiya, Anika, Evan, Hannah, Brady, Carter, Ava, Zachariah, Jr., Brynlee Rae, Elizabeth, Damien and Carson.
No formal services are planned at this time.
Judith Ann Haas will be dearly missed by her loved ones and the community she touched. Her legacy lives on through her contributions and the memories she leaves behind. May she rest in peace.
