Judith Ann Hagy's Obituary
Judith Ann Hagy of North Fort Myers passed away suddenly but peacefully at the hospital on Thursday, June 11, 2020 while receiving treatment for an orthopedic infection. She was 72 years old.
Judy was born on June 4, 1948 in Vandalia, Illinois, the beautiful child to Margaret (Livsey) and Maurice Smith. She spent the majority of her working life as a Hairdresser and took great pride in helping others to look their very best. She loved to travel and was always up for another road trip. Judy was knows as a "Bingo Freak," and she rarely, if ever, missed an opportunity to play. She was grateful to be a devoted wife and loving mother and treasured the opportunity to be a Grandmother.
Judy leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband Roger L. Hagy, her loving sons Ty (Genevieve) Hagy and Justin (Michelle) Hagy; her cherished daughter Sasha (Joe) Peterson; treasured grandchildern Brittany, Makayla, Rhiannon, Gracelyn, Christyann, Evangeline, Hope, Nia, Elijah, Noah, Zach, Cody, Jeff, Ayla and Kayla. Judy also leaves behind her sister Diane Plum, a number of extended family members and a great many more who were proud to know Judy and call her a friend. She will be warmly rembered and greatly missed.
A Memorial Service for Judy will be celebrated at 2:30 PM on Saturday, June 20, 2020 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Friends will be received for Visitation for an hour and a half preceding this ceremony beginning at 1:00 PM also inside the funeral home chapel. Cremation rites will be accorded thereafter at an undisclosed time and will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family instead suggests a donation in Judy's memory be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478
