Julia Louise Garrison's Obituary
Julia Louise Garrison, 69 years of age, of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Hope Hospice House in Cape Coral, Florida. Mrs. Garrison was born in Franklin, Ohio on June 23, 1944, a daughter of the late Fred Ballinger and Helen McKinney Ballinger. Mrs. Garrison was hairdresser and cosmetologist and had owned and operated her own beauty salon for 35 years. She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church in North Fort Myers, Florida. Julia enjoyed staying busy and enjoyed bowling, knitting but most of all enjoyed time spent with her family. Julia was a collector of porcelain dolls. She had resided here since 1971 coming from Franklin, Ohio. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Virgil L. (Rhonda) Garrison of North Fort Myers, Florida, Coni (Morris) Workman of Friday Harbor, Washington, Brian W. Garrison of Florida and John (Carolyn) Garrison of Rogersville, Tennessee; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; a brother, Carroll (Brenda) Ballinger of Kentucky, Patricia Alcorn of Carlisle, Ohio, Rosemary Carter of Carlisle, Ohio, Shelby Pennington of London, Kentucky and Sharon (David) Bray of Franklin, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, Florida 33907.
