Julie Ann Knotts, 68, of North Fort Myers, FL, died 9:41 AM, Tuesday, October 22, 2014 at her residence. There will be no services per her request. Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials: Animal Refuge Center, 18011 Old Bayshore Rd., North Fort Myers, FL 33917. Julie was born April 9, 1946 in San Diego, CA, the daughter of Glendora (Hadden) Nichols. She married William Charles Knotts on a cruise ship from Miami in 1995. She worked as an office manager in various legal offices. She was of the Bahai faith, and was an avid gardener. She is survived by her husband William Charles Knotts; children, Dr. James Nicols of Tempe, AZ, Robert Nichols of Portland, OR, Julie Piper of Livermore, CA, Rochelle O’Hay of Stuart, FL, Jacqueline Angeroth of Salt Lake City, UT, Laura Jean Lueck of San Diego, CA; brother, Todd Nash of Hawaii, several grandchildren and her step-father, Bob Zrynka.
