Julio Aguirre's Obituary
Julio Aguirre, 70, of Fort Myers, FL passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025. Julio was born September 24, 1954, to Pedro Aguirre and Ana Felicia Carillo in Lima, Peru.
Julio Aguirre’s kindness and fun-loving spirit touched the lives of everyone he met. Whether through a warm smile, a shared laugh, or a perfectly cooked meal, Julio made every moment brighter.
A talented and passionate chef, Julio found joy in the kitchen and in bringing people together through food. Beyond his culinary talent, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a deeply loving family man.
His heart belonged to his family above all else.
Julio had a zest for life—he loved music, dancing, and the beautiful game of soccer, both as a player and an avid fan. But his greatest pride and joy was always his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Miriam Aguirre; his daughter, Ivette Montoya; and his son, Edwin Camacho-Vara. Julio was a proud grandfather to Natasha, Nicholas, Brandon, Ariana, and his cherished granddaughter Dominica. He is also remembered with love by his sister, Raquel, and brother, Pedro, who reside in Peru.
In accordance with his wishes, Julio will be cremated, and his ashes will remain with his loving wife. He did not want a memorial service but instead asked to be remembered through love, joy, and the happy memories shared with him.
Julio’s light will forever shine in the hearts of those who knew him.
