Julio Hernandez's Obituary
Julio Hernandez of Cape Coral, Florida passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Sunday, February 12, 2017. He was 90 years old.Julio was born on December 20, 1926 in Esperanza, Cuba. He was a man of many talents and trades throughout life and prided himself on being a good provider for his family. Julio was especially skilled at diagnosing and repairing a variety of electronics and he worked as a technician in this field for a number of years. He had a passion for photography, painting and was an avid fisherman. Julio was the devoted husband to and is survived by his loving wife Ileana (Rodriguez) Hernandez. He also leaves behind a large and loving family and many others who were proud to know and call him a friend.A Memorial Service for Julio will be celebrated by Deacon Anthony F. DiLorenzo at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 16, 2017 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33914, (239) 936-0555. Visitation will precede this ceremony for two hours beginning at 11:00 AM also inside the funeral home chapel.
