June Eileen Rodriguez's Obituary
June Eileen Rodriguez, 87, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 1996, formerly of San Antonio, TX passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, February 2, 2024. She was born January 24, 1937 in Detroit, MI to the late Richard and Mary (nee Halas) Rowley.
June was formally from Michigan as well as San Antonio, Texas. She was vivacious, fun loving, a talented artist, a terrific cook and never passed a garage sale without stopping. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luis F. Rodriguez in 2023; son, Gregory F. Rodriguez in 1999; as well as her two sisters, Dolores Larsen and Mary Elizabeth Bradfield.
June is survived by her two loving children, Mary Lynn McDaniels of Cape Coral, FL and Luis R. Rodriguez (Debra) of Punta Gorda, FL; one sister, Patricia J. Johnston (Thomas) of Michigan; five grandchildren, Teresa, Michael, Mark, Cody and Brittany; as well as five adored great grandchildren, Conlan, Macy, Shai, Graham and Oliver.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice, 2430 Diplomate Parkway East, Cape Coral, FL or to Moffit Cancer Center, 12902 USF Magnolia Drive, Tampa, FL in loving memory of June Eileen Rodriguez.
