Junie K Friday's Obituary
Junie K. Friday, a resident of Fort Myers passed away peacefully at the age of 62 under the care of Hope Hospice, Joanne's House location, on July 11,2022 following a courageous battle with cancer.
Junie was born in Antigua on June 22, 1960 to Nellie and Clyde Friday. He was married to and leaves behind his loving wife, Sarah Friday, his children Leon Friday, Dion Friday, Kemely Emanuel, and stepsons Matthew Maitland and Timothy Maitland. He also leaves behind his brother George, sister-in-law Jennifer, nieces Jennifer, Kirsten, and Andrea and nephews George Jr. and Dave, sister Sara, sister Gloria, niece Simone and Nephew Jeremy, sister Jeanette and niece Amelia, sister Silvia and niece Joanne, Sandy, Kandice, Mauricia, Denisha, brother John and brother Ellery (both deceased) nephews Carl, Vernon, and niece Elouise. He also leaves behind his loving grandchildren and great nieces and nephews.
He was beloved by his family and friends for his witty sense of humor and kind heart. He owned Friday's Auto Sales in Fort Myers for 15 years, and he loved cars and was a mechanic in England before moving here and starting his own business with his wife. He loved God and his family with all his heart.
There will be a Memorial celebrating his life on July 30, 2022 at First Christian Church, 2061 FL-867 Fort Myers, FL at 12-Noon.
