Karol Kay Sharar-Hudak's Obituary
Karol Kay Sharar-Hudak, 71, passed away May 28, 2013. She was born October 18, 1941 in Richmond, Indiana to the late Paul and Norma (Houston) Watts. She came to Lee County in 1999 from Denton, Texas where she had been an office manager for a cable TV station. Karol loved taking her children on picnics, doing crossword puzzles, reading, laying out in the sun and being with her dogs. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 24 years, Paul Hudak; sons, William Sharar and his wife Abigail Muller of Austin, Texas, Thomas Sharar and his wife Rosie of Denton, Texas and J. Richard Sharar and his wife Rebecca of Roanoke, Texas; sisters, Maureen Bolinger (Curt) of Eaton, Ohio, Linda Hook and her husband James of Denton, Texas and Jennifer Lafleur and her husband Colin of Lake Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Dylan, Jake, Ian, Kerstin and Kira; great-grandchildren, Marissa and Salem; and dogs, Koko and Max.
