Kathleen Fontaine's Obituary
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Kathleen Sheran Fontaine, on May 9 at her home in Fort Myers, FL. She was born on February 8, 1950 in Pittsburgh, PA. to J. Leo and Mary A. Sheran. After attending Sacred Heart High School in Pittsburgh, she graduated with a B.S. in Biology from St. Bonaventure University in 1972 followed by an M.S. in Occupational Therapy in 1978. In 1971 she also completed a semester of International Study at Sea with Chapman College’s “World Campus Afloat.” She married Phillip Fontaine on May 28, 1977, in Hanover, MA. She enjoyed bird watching and biking but her main passion was being the heart and soul of her family. Her legacy was to pass on to her children, grandchildren, extended family and friends the richness of her catholic faith and its treasures to be found in the Catholic Church. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Phillip; three sons, Andrew (Mylyn), Christopher (Taiya) and Timothy (Kate); eight grandchildren and two sisters, Maureen Pickell and Sheila Norris. Kathleen will be honored with a Mass of the Resurrection to be held at 10am, on May 17 at the St. John XXIII Catholic Church, 13060 Palomino Lane, Fort Myers.
