Kathleen "Kathy" Jennison's Obituary
Kathleen “Kathy” Jennison, 72, of Cape Coral, Florida lost her battle with Alzheimer’s disease surrounded by the love of her family & friends on Friday, September 29, 2017. She was born March 6, 1945 in Queens, New York, to William H. and Anna C. (Schoener) Lambert. She moved to Florida from Saint James, New York in 1996. She married Harry Robert Jennison on July 7, 1962 and he survives. Kathy attended Jamaica High School and graduated in 1962. She went on to earn a certification as, a Nurse’s Aide from, Lewis A. Wilson Technological Center. Kathy was a dedicated and hard worker. She worked as, a Nurse’s Aide for 12 years.Kathy was a devoted and loving mother. She was very proud of her family and was excited to become a “Nana” to her 6 grandchildren. Kathy loved helping care for her grandchildren; watching movies; going to the Theatre; Traveling and get-togethers; any chance to spend time with her family and friends was important to her. Kathy was known for her feisty, yet energetic and outgoing personality. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her. Kathy is survived by her children: Kerry (Richard Shelton) Jennison-Lotito of Cape Coral and Chris Jennison of Ft. Myers; her sister, Patrica (Robert) VanDyke of Belvidere, IL.; her six grandchildren; Brian, twins Julie and Katie Lotito of Cape Coral; Angela and Heidi Jennison of Port Jefferson Station, NY and Natalee Jennison; her great-granddaughter Jade Jennison of Port Jefferson Station, NY and her loving nieces, nephews, numerous other relatives and friends.
