Kathleen Smith's Obituary
Kathleen Smith, aged 95, of Vancouver, WA, passed away peacefully at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, March 29, 2025. Kathleen was born in Lodge Grass, Montana, on December 17, 1929, to the late Raymond and Oralia (Sanchez) Samudio.
Kathleen was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished every moment spent with her family. Her tender embrace, warm smile, and infectious laughter are memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her. As the strongest person her loved ones ever knew, Kathleen courageously raised six children on her own, embodying love, resilience, and unwavering support.
Kathleen is survived by her five loving children, Candy Klesalek, BJ Perry, David Smith, Timothy Smith and Ruth Sanchez.
She was deeply loved and will be sorely missed as she joins her youngest son, Richard Potts, in heaven. Kathleen’s legacy is one of love, kindness, and strength—a beacon that will shine brightly in the lives of those she leaves behind.
A Graveside Service will be celebrated 1:30 PM, Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in the Garden of Devotion, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL.
