Kay Addison Bartleson's Obituary
Kay Addison Bartleson, 80, was born and raised in Ft. Myers, FL. She is survived by her three sisters Maxine Prevatt, Pamela Addison and Gail Davis, daughters Lori Bowen Baquero, Ann Lambert & Pat Sisson, sons John & Mike Bartleson, granddaughters Maya & Ayla Baquero, grandson Tammen Baquero as well as 5 grand and 5 great grandchildren on the Bartleson side. Kay is preceded in death by her beloved husband John D. Bartleson Jr., her parents, Susan Gwen Prevatt, and son Curtis Michael Bowen.Kay was born to W.H. Addison and LaVau Strickland Addison and was raised by Maxie S. Prevatt. Following her graduation from Ft. Myers High School she worked at the local First National and Barnett Banks where she was known throughout her community as being honest, faithful, model employee and citizen. On August 31, 1990 she married John and relocated to Va. Beach where they became both snow and love birds frequently returning to Ft. Myers for their HS reunions.Memorial and graveside services for family and friends will be held at 10a.m. Wed., Nov. 30, 2016 at the Memorial Gardens, 1580 Colonial Blvd., Ft. Myers, FL 33907.
