Kenneth Raymond Cooper, 89, of Fort Myers, FL, died October 5, 2014 at Hospice House of Fort Myers. Cremation Rites will be accorded. Private inurnment will be at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL. Memorials: Hope Hospice, 9470 Health Park Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908. Kenneth was born March 7, 1925 in Rochester, NY, the son of Raymond A. and Jessie (Rowland) Cooper. He worked as a brick mason for the State of New York. Mr. Cooper was a veteran of the US Army and was a member of VFW Post 10097 Fort Myers Beach, American Legion Post 274, and a 60 year Member of the Masonic Lodge #362 A.F & A.M. He enjoyed Bowling and Fishing. Surviving are his spouse of 64 years, Dorothy (Howell) Cooper of Fort Myers Beach; son, Terry Cooper and his wife Regina of Winston-Salem, NC; two grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Kenneth was preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Cooper and sister Millicent Burnett.
