Kenneth E Horne's Obituary
Kenneth Elbert Horne, 72, a true Floridian passed away on April 8th, 2025. Kenneth was the eldest son of Kenneth and Gloria Jean Horne. Kenneths life was filled with so much love for all his family. He grew up as a meat cutter, butcher for Publix to provide for his family. Kenneth was the type of man who would take the shirt off his back to help others, including animals. He was the keeper of love.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his sister Carlene, His father Kenneth, his son Michael, his great grandson Kaleb, his brother Danny and finally his mother Gloria Jean.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife for over 34 years, Kathy Horne of N. Ft. Myers, eldest son, Kenneth James (wife Tabetha) and daughter Crystal Gayle. His stepchildren, Shannan and Jeremy, His grandchildren, Austin, Leanna, Leila, and Lyla Dai. His step grandchildren Alyssa, Jayme and Kaylee. He has two Great grandbabies, Bennett and Levi Horne.
Family and friends are invited to a Graveside Service in his honor on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 10:00 a.m.
His legacy of unwavering love for his family will forever be unmatched. His mentoring skills of the “life of a fisherman” will live on through his children, grandchildren and the great grands. Fishing days were the best days! Even if nothing was caught, he still made the days enjoyable. His memory will live on throughout all the lives he has touched.
Always missed and never forgotten. A huge void that will never be filled.
