Kenneth Paul Killion's Obituary
Kenneth Paul Killion of Fort Myers, Florida passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 7, 2021 after experiencing an unexpected medical emergency. He was 71 years old.
Ken was born in Lockport, New York on December 19, 1949, the proud son to Delores Theresa (Pfenter) and Frank Anthony Killion. He was a skilled carpenter by trade and worked for many years in the construction field as a General Contractor.
He was the devoted husband to his loving wife Julie A. (Ennis) Ende-Killion whom he leaves to cherish his memory. He also leaves behind his children Dawn Marie Killion, Kenneth P. Killion Jr., Kimberly Ende Trapp and Kelly Wolfson (Husband: Stephen Wolfson); his granddaughters Sarah Killion and Madison Wolfson; grandson Mark Receveur (Wife: Chelsie Receveur); great grandsons Taylor Receveur and Nathan Wolfson; brothers Al (Pat) Killion (New York) and Joe Killion (New York); sisters Mary (Mark) Mendola (Bonita Springs, FL) and Sharon (George) Bannister (New York.) Sadly, he was preceded in death by his mother Delores Theresa (Pfenter); father Frank Anthony Killion and brother Frank Killion. Ken also leaves many beloved Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews, a large extended family and many others who were proud to call him a friend.
A Celebration of Life for Ken will take place at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Guests are invited for a period of Visitation preceding this ceremony beginning at 3:00 PM also inside the funeral home chapel. Please be advised that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, visitors to the funeral home are requested to follow appropriate social distancing guidelines, including the requirement that all guests submit to temperature screening when entering and that everyone wear a mask while inside the building.
In lieu of flowers, the family instead suggests a donation in memory of Ken be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place,
