Kenneth J McStravic's Obituary
Kenneth J. McStravic (Kenny Mac) passed away February 1, 2022, comfortably with his daughter and son-in-law Ronald and Julie Weller at his side in their Buckingham home. Kenny was preceded in death by his beautiful wife of 62 years LaMona D. McStravic. He was born in Phelps, New York in April 18,1930. Together they had 5 children, as he affectionally put it, a full house with queens on each end: Julie Weller (Ronald), James McStravic (Linda), Joseph McStravic, Jack McStravic (Anji) and Jayne Nottingham (Dale).
Ken was blessed with 7 grandchildren: John Hartman, Donald Hartman (Jennifer), Jennifer Cavanaugh (Kevin), Jill Shapiro, Jacob McStravic (Kim), Jonah McStravic (Madison), and Shelby Coles. Plus 14 great grandchildren: Brandon, Hannah, Kaylee, Joshua, Caitlyn, Caleb, Zachary, (Jill’s seven).
He always enjoyed a good party and enjoyed being the life of the party. He will be missed for always having a smile on his face and good nature. He was always proud of the accomplishments of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
He was lifelong member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, and locally a member of the Fort Myers 1288 Lodge, serving multiple years at the State level in various capacities.
His family is at peace knowing that mom and dad are both together and holding hands once again.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 26, 2pm-6pm, at the home of Ronald and Julie Weller, 6540 Chabot Ave., Fort Myers, Fl 33905. We hope you will join us to celebrate the life of Kenny Mac. Food and drink will be served
