Kenneth W. Pendarvis, Sr.: a husband, father, grandfather and a true professional. I first met Kenny when I was in elementary school and followed Kenny all through high school. Kenny was a true family man. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Kenny and I played on the same little league team, the Tigers. We ended up working together for more than 30 years at the Florida Power & Light plant. Kenny was one of the most highly skilled craftsmen that I worked with. Every job Kenny performed was done with the upmost professionalism and quality. Kenny liked the outdoors and liked to hunt. He would share his hunting stories Monday at lunch time. Kenny taught me so much and he will truly be missed.

Kenny was a wonderful person and true friend you could always count on. Worked with him many years at Florida Power & Light. We had the best crew. He and his wife, Susan, were dear friends to our family. So many wonderful memories of Kenny and family over the years. He will be dearly missed. Knew Kenny most of my life. His older bro. Jimmy and Maxy Strickland were my best friends in School and Boy Scouts. Later worked many long years with Kenny at Florida Power & Light Co. Many long hours day and night working together. Kenny was a good man and a true friend. I've just about lost all the Polk Street friends I grew up with. Kenny you'll be missed old buddy.
