Kenneth Reeve Tevis' Obituary
Kenneth Reeve Tevis, 82, of North Fort Myers, FL passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Hope Hospice South in Fort Myers, FL.?á Mr. Tevis was born July 14, 1929 in Delanco, New Jersey, a son of the late Lloyd and Pearl Reeve Tevis.?á He was retired from the Electronics Industry.?á Kenneth was a veteran of the U.S. Navy honorably serving his country during the Korean War.?á He was a Licensed Private Pilot and enjoyed traveling extensively across the country in his RV and traveling abroad. Kenneth was also a boating enthusiast and owned his own boats.?á Upon moving to the Fort Myers area in 1994 he began golfing and shooting pool with his buddies and this gave him great pleasure.?á Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by two daughters, Pat and Kathy.?á He was a former resident of New Jersey.?á He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Theresa Tevis of North Fort Myers, FL; his daughter, Ramona (Jim) Mailley of Salem, NJ; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; his brother, Richard (Marie) Tevis of Delanco, NJ.?á At this time no public funeral services will be held at Mr. Tevis request. Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is assisting the family.
