Kevin House's Obituary
Phillip Kevin House, age 54, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022 in Fort Myers, Florida. Born on July 26, 1968 to Phillip Gene and Mary Margaret House. Kevin spent the first half of his life in Kentucky, where he attended Woodford County High School and the University of Kentucky. His life changed in 1996 when he re-connected with his wife, Tammy Jones, at their 10-year high school reunion. Kevin and Tammy married on July 13, 2001 and spent the last twenty years building a life together in Fort Myers. Kevin became a Certified Building Contractor and founded KH Construction. While he started out building houses; he quickly found his niche in home inspections. Kevin always went above and beyond to help his clients and friends. Kevin made the world a better place and will be desperately missed in many communities. In addition to his wife, Kevin is survived by his father, Phillip; sister, Lisa (Rocky) Padgett; brother Greg (Jennifer) House; mother-in-law, Barbara Jones; sister-in-law Jamie (Michael) Polly; nieces and nephews Alicia Simmons, Jason Polly, Will Padgett, Davis House, and Edie House; great-niece and great-nephews Jackson Simmons, Ava Polly, Haydn Polly; and his beloved dog, Kiki. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Margaret House, his father-in-law, Bobby Jones, and his faithful fur baby Zhen. Visitation and funeral services will be held at the Gulf Coast Church of Christ on Sunday, August 7, 2022 – with visitation starting at 1:00 PM and funeral services at 2:00 PM. Entombment will follow at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens. A Celebration of Life will be held in Versailles, Kentucky at a to be determined time and date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you contribute to the Gulf Coast Church of Christ Building Fund via one of the options listed below.
