Kim William Simpson, 62, of Fort Myers, passed away December 2, 2012.?áHe was born August 12, 1950 in Evansville, Indiana to Donald and the late Sarah Jane (Reece) Simpson.?áHe came to Lee County in 2004 from Nashua, New Hampshire.?á Kim retired from Nypro as Director of Process Technology World Wide.?áHe was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Forest City, North Carolina, Cypress Lake United Methodist Church and Gateway Golf & Country Club.?áHe was involved with Kairos Ministry, Walk to Emmaus and the Red Cross Disaster Team.?áKim loved to golf, fish, travel, take cruises, scuba dive and fly private planes.?á Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 38 years, Carolyn; father, Donald Simpson and his wife Ruth of Salisbury, Indiana; sisters, Vicki Simpson of Morango, Indiana, Sandy Swift of Minneola, Florida, Kristi Judd of Paoli, Indiana and Tami Ziegler and her husband Darrin of Edgewater, Florida.?áHe was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Jane.?á There will be a visitation on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, Florida 33907.?áThere will be a short Masonic service beginning at 7:00 PM.?áCelebration of Life Service will be Thursday at 11:00 AM at Cypress Lake United Methodist Church, 8570 Cypress Lake Drive, Fort Myers, Florida 33919.?áInterment will follow at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.?áMemorial contributions may be made to the Cypress Lake United Methodist Church Building Fund or Hope Hospice at www.hopehospice.org. ?á?á?áCondolences may be left online at www.fortmyersmemorial.com.
