Very sorry for the loss of Lance. Our condolences to Beverly and Lance’s family. Gary and Jane Neubauer
Lance we had some great fun with the gang on Staten Island. Nevada Avenue was good to all of us. But today I just found out that Mike Celic was gone and now you. Have some great memories of you guys, the reunions in Florida (was so looking forward to another one), and all the days we spent playing baseball, football, basketball and hockey, sometimes three differetn sports in one day. Walk down my dirveway on a nice day and memories come back of ballgames gone by. You were a good friend, think of you often.
Lance “Papa Loo” was a great Dad to Caryn and Brian and all his extended children, Caryn and Brian’s friends. He was the same fun Gradpop to his grandchildren. I have so many memories of being at the pool on Neal Drive and Papa Loo coming home from golf to check on us girls in the backyard. Even wheeling out the “attitude adjustment” cart of beverages. Your memory lives on with Beverly, Caryn and Brian and all the family. Rest In Peace.
Lance loved his life. He was great with kids and contributed much to the Manalapan, NJ community where he lived for many years. Lance was a fellow brother in the Yorktowne Social club of which he was a member and officer for many years. Lance “Nessie” was known for his antics at the Yorktowne annual picnic where he delighted kids with his impression of a sea monster in the picnic grounds lake. He served on the board and was the first one to volunteer his time to make the club and Manalapan a better place to live. Although I lost touch with Lance when he moved to Florida, I will always remember him as a great and selfless friend to me, my Yorktowne brothers and the Manalapan community. My condolences to the love of his life Beverly. St. Peter awaits your admittance at the pearly gate. Rest in peace my friend.
