Larry Lee Huffman's Obituary
Larry Lee Huffman passed away March 16, 2020, at the age of 75 from a brief but brutal battle with cancer that attacked his entire body. When he passed it was a beautiful crisp morning with the sun rising and birds singing while surrounded by his family.
He was born July 9, 1944 in Allentown Fort Wayne, IN to Otto and Violet Huffman, now deceased.
He is survived by his two brothers, Otto Huffman, Jr and Ronnie Huffman; his three children, Nicole Luders (Daniel), Randy Huffman and Paula Hammond (Mark); four cherished grandchildren, Dustin Huffman, Emily Huffman, Kyera Huffman and Nathaniel Luders; as well as his ex-wife, Lucille Parent.
He moved to Fort Myers in 1950 and moved back and forth between Florida and Indiana until their permanent move in 1956. He graduated Fort Myers High School in 1962.
Larry had many friends from the 23 years he raced cars to the 33 years he worked for Bob LEE Electric. He continued to go to work with his son even after his retirement on a part time bases.
Larry loved watching and going to whatever event his grandchildren were doing. From family dinners to the holidays he loved being with his family and more importantly his grandchildren. He enjoyed meeting his friends for karaoke, breakfast and dinners; he had an amazing group of friends that he loved being with.
A Graveside Service will be celebrated 12 NOON, Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL.
The family asks that you consider donating blood to your local blood bank or giving to the American Cancer Society in loving memory of Larry Lee Huffman.
