Larry Marvin Nipper's Obituary
Larry Marvin Nipper, 80, a lifelong Fort Myers, FL resident passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 at his residence. He was born August 4, 1942 in Fort Myers, FL to the late Luther and Gennetalee (nee Morgan) Nipper.
Larry was a proud United States Navy Veteran. Larry was a proud Navy Seabee who visited much of the US as well as parts of Europe while serving his country. He enjoyed his life fully and spent many years boating, fishing and hunting with family and friends all throughout the State of Florida. Many special memories were made during summers spent with his daughter Tina, his son-in-law “Captain Chris” and his grandchildren, taking pleasure in all that the waters of Marco Island had to offer. He was a known member of the construction community, running a successful plumbing business for 20+ years and, up until his last days, building residential homes with his son, Blake. In his later years you could find Larry spending time with family, frequenting his favorite eateries or enjoying his signature cocktail.
Larry is survived by his three children, Tina Vannote (Christopher) of Lehigh Acres, FL, Debbie Edwards of California and Blake Nipper (Marisa Spradlin) of Fort Myers, FL; Dodie Nipper of North Fort Myers; eleven grandchildren, Leah, Christopher, Ashlee, Krystal, Paul, Taylor, April, Taylor, Payton, Taylor and Emma; as well as seven great grandchildren.
A Graveside service will be celebrated 1:00 PM, Friday, April 14, 2023 in the Field of Honor section of Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Myers, FL.
