LaVau Strickland ?Ç£Candy?Ç¥ Prevatt, 93, of Fort Myers, passed away Friday, July 22, 2011.?á She was born October 17, 1917 in Bainbridge, GA and moved to Fort Myers in 1926.?á She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church and attended Northside Baptist Church. ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á Mrs. Prevatt is survived by her daughters: Kay (Doug) Bartleson, Maxine Prevatt and Gwen Prevatt; her granddaughter, Lori (Ric) Baquero; her great grandchildren: Maya, Ayla and Tammen Baquero and several nieces and nephews.?á She was preceded in death by her husband, Maxie Prevatt; her parents: Pasha Lee Palmer and Jabe Strickland; her sisters: Virgie Skinner Thomas, Opal (Tip) Daniels and Sybil Strickland; her brothers: Wilton Strickland, Lorenzo Strickland and Douglas Strickland and her grandson, Curt Bowen. ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with burial to follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.?á Friends will be received from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at the funeral home. ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907, 239-936-0555.?á Online condolences may be made at: www.fortmyersmemorial.com.
