LaVergne W. Hummel's Obituary
LaVergne W. Hummel, 93, a resident of North Fort Myers since 1986, formerly of Westmont, IL passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 in Fort Myers, FL. She was born November 24, 1927 in Chicago, IL to the late Casimir and Lillian Mision.
LaVergne was a longtime bookkeeper/accountant in the banking industry until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Pamela McCartney and her husband, Rodney of Fort Myers, FL; one brother, Ronald Mision and his wife Gloria of Missouri; two grandsons, Mark and Sean; as well as three adored great grandchildren, Raleigh, Emily and Christopher.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated 1:30 PM, Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907. (239) 936-0555. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 1:00 PM until the service time at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in the Serenity Garden Mausoleums.
