Lavina Alvina Davis' Obituary
Lavina Alvina Davis of Lehigh Acres and LaBelle, Florida passed away with her loving family by her side on Friday, April 29, 2016 following some recent health challenges. She was 90 years old.Lavina was born on October 13, 1925 in Wing, North Dakota, the beautiful daughter and one of sixteen children born to Rosina (Oswald) and Daniel Sieglock. She had a very strong work ethic and was working daily at the farm from a very early age to support her family. She continued work until the age of 70 when she finally retired as a master cabinet maker. All who knew her would attest that she was a woman kind of heart, keen of mind and skilled of hand.Lavina leaves to cherish her memory her daughters Donna Davis and Linda Guy (Billy); her grandchildren Jimmy Fussell, Misty Lebo (Ross), Junior Fussell and Windy Matheny. She also leaves behind 10 great grandchildren, many extended family members and a multitude of people who were proud to know her and call her a friend. Sadly she is preceded in death by her loving husband Alphonso “Dave” Davis, her grandson Jessie Fussell and her great grandson T.J. Fussell.A Memorial Service for Lavina will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Friends will be received for Visitation for two hours preceding this service at the funeral home chapel beginning at 9:00 AM.
