LAWRENCE E. “TED” SMITH?á?á Lawrence E. “Ted” Smith, 84, of Fort Myers, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2010. He was born August 23, 1926 in Flint, MI and moved to Fort Myers from Battle Creek, MI in 1960. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II, a member of St. Cecelia’s Catholic Community and owned and operated Professional Management Services for 50 years. Mr. Smith is survived by his children: Susan Watson, Cynthia Davis, Mike Smith and Tim Smith. Also surviving are three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcelene L. Smith in 2004 and his son, Christopher Smith in 2004. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday (TODAY), September 3, 2010 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice of Lee County, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
