I am truly saddened to hear about Lee’s passing. I grew up with Lee at First Baptist Church and Fort Myers High School. It is my sincere desire to honor the memory of his life.
I have known Lee since 1987 when he became my brother in law. He has been a great father and provider as well as being active in the church and his community. I remember many early mornings when Lee, Dad and I would go fishing. I never had much luck before but with Lee onboard I started to catch fish. Then there was the trip to Germany in 1995. Jessica was still pretty young and I will never forget Lee pushing her up the mountains or carrying her up his shoulders for 3 weeks without complaint. I also enjoyed Lee's family tradition of Thanksgiving at the Creek. It was amazing how many people attended and how long that tradition had lasted. Then there were the softball games with Stephanie. Her success is a reflection of his skill at the game. Jessica also has had great success no doubt in part due to her hard work but also due to Debbie and Lee's support. I want to add that I love Elliot and his family and his music. It was a blessing to be able to meet with them in February. Lee will be missed.
Lee has been my brother in law since 1987 and I got to see what a wonderful father and provider he was. From softball games to fishing to the Thanksgiving dinners at the Creek to Rotary and the Edison Pagent, he always had great energy and enthusiasm. I will always remember our family's 3 week trip to Germany in 1995 where Lee carried and pushed young Jessica in her stroller up the mountains. She loved it but Lee, dad and I were sweating. I will miss our trips on the Fishin Mission with Lee and my Dad. Before I met Lee, I didn't catch many fish. There are so many other memories. He will be missed.
