Lee and Fran were beloved members of Temple of Israel in Wilmington, N.C. Lee as Membership Chair was most caring toward new members, offering hospitality and

I had the distinct privilege of sharing an office with Lee when he first joined the faculty at UNC Wilmington. Wonderful memories were created as we swapped stories from very different world experiences - Lee's were always way more intriguing. He is the very definition of an officer and a true gentleman. He has left his mark on the lives of many, especially the countless students who sought his advice - which he gave so generously. He will be dearly missed.
