My condolences to Lee Wilkinson's Family.
Lee and Bill Wilkinson welcomed my husband, Bill, and me into the Battelle family in 1969.
We were new to Columbus and Lee was a wealth of information for our little family, from places to live and shop to child friendly places in Columbus. She also introduced our expanding family of five boys and one girl to the Narnia series. We are forever grateful.
Lee and I were members of the Battelle wives’ organization which was very formal at the time. We were companions touring the cities where our husbands attended national and international conferences. We enjoyed department picnics together at Apple Valley and Battelle-Jefferson as well as( Indian Lake?)
She and Bill were supportive in my early writing career.
Lee is remembered. I remember her smile and soft voice. She was a good friend.
