Lillian J Gill's Obituary
Lillian J. Gill, 92, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2024, with her family by her side. She and her husband have been residents of Southwest Florida for the past 20 years.
Lillian was born on October 12, 1931, to Anthony and Maria Cattano in New York, NY. Lillian is survived by her loving husband, Richard Gill of 57 years; and her sons Brian Gill (Amy) of Fort Washington, PA and Christopher Gill (Kim) of Kenilworth, IL; grandchildren Grant, Grace, Oliver, Wesley, and Jack; her sister Angela Lampiasi (Salvator) her nephew Stephen (Tanya) Lampiasi and great nieces Olivia and Isabella and great nephew Rocco and many other extended family members and friends. Lillian was preceded in death by her nephew, Joseph Lampiasi.
Lillian and Richard raised their family in Staten Island, NY and Northern NJ prior to moving to FL. She worked as an accountant and bookkeeper for over 50 years.
Lillian was a devoted Catholic and member of St John XXIII Catholic Church. In her younger years, she enjoyed cooking for her family, creating needlepoint projects and ceramics.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, February 17th at St. John XXIII Catholic Church, 13060 Palomino Ln, Fort Myers, FL 33912 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in Queens, NY.
Memorial donations may be made to St. John XXIII Catholic Church in memory of Lillian Gill.
