Linda Kay Conner's Obituary
Linda “Kay” Conner, age 73, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026, in Port Charlotte, Florida. She was born on November 22, 1952, in Dothan, Alabama, to the late Pope and Mae (Conley) Horne.
Linda was a woman of Christian faith who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. In her spare time, she especially loved window shopping, enjoying the calm moments spent browsing and dreaming.
She shared 48 years of marriage with her devoted husband, Patrick Conner, whom she married in 1977. Together they built a life centered on family, love, and enduring commitment.
Linda is lovingly survived by her husband, Patrick Conner; her daughter, Melissa Conner; her brother, Ronny Horne; and her sister, Carol Haines. She was a proud grandmother to Kaylyne, Cassandra, and Aaron, and a cherished great-grandmother to Landon, Samantha, and Taylor. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved daughter, Joyce Parker.
All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
