Linda Ann Downs' Obituary
Linda Ann Downs of Lake Suzy, Florida passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully on Monday, January 8, 2024. She was 76 years old.
Linda was born in Macon, Missouri on August 8, 1947 and was the beautiful daughter to Ruby (Sparks) and Levi Haden. She was a wife, mother, kindergarten teacher, pilot, church pianist, ballroom dancer, and friend who could light up a room. Even at 76 years old, she signed her name with a smiley face simply because it made people happy.
Linda leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband Gerald F. "Jerry" Downs and also leaves behind her loving son Jeremy Downs of Wichita Falls, Texas and her treasured daughter Julie Downs Payne of Brentwood, Tennessee.
A Memorial Service for Linda will be celebrated at 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at the Punta Gorda Alliance Church, 7500 Florida Street, Punta Gorda, Florida 33950, (941) 637-6444. Friends will be received for Visitation for an hour preceding this service beginning at 2:00 PM also inside the Church sanctuary.
