Lisa Maria Wise's Obituary
Lisa Maria Ferrara Wise, 55, passed away peacefully at Hope Hospice, Cape Coral, on December 7, 2018, after an admirable, 8 month battle with lung cancer. Her husband, Paul, was at her side as she was summoned to her eternal home.Lisa was born in New Jersey. At the age of 5, she and her family moved to Ft Myers. She graduated from North Ft Myers High School. Lisa married her husband, Paul, a fellow Red Knight classmate, at St Andrews Church in Cape Coral. Lisa and Paul resided in Orlando before moving back to this area in April of this year. Lisa was employed as a lead medical coder for HCA/Parallon. She was a Catholic. She was a beloved wife, a giving mother and “the best” nana. She was an avid gardener, a cook extraordinaire, and one of the kindest and warmest persons one could ever meet.Lisa is predeceased by her mother, Barbara Morgan Moceri, father, Joseph Ferrara, and stepfather, Andy Moceri.Lisa is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Paul Wise; son, Shane Wise, (Jackie), and grandchildren, Jaden and Reese. She is also survived by brother Michael Ferrara, sister, Cathe Lee, and brothers Charles Ferrara (Sue) and Dave Ferrara (Lisa), along with many family and friends that loved her.A Memorial Gathering/Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL 33907, (239) 936-0555. Lisa’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 Noon the following day, Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 2055 Heitman Street, Ft. Myers, Florida 33901, (239) 334-2161. Immediately following the conclusion of Mass, friends and family will travel to Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery for burial.
