Lita Rita Fucella's Obituary
Lita Rita Fucella, 88, of North Fort Myers died March 5, 2017 at her residence. A memorial mass will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 20115 N. Tamiami Trail, North Fort Myers, FL, 33903. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to be given to Hope Hospice, 2430 Diplomat Parkway East, Cape Coral, FL 33909. Lita was born March 26, 1928 in Bronx, NY the daughter of Louis and Italia (Rugani) Pagnelli. She was married to Joseph Fucella for 68 years. He remains living at their home at this time. Lita was a talented seamstress and spent many years of her professional career making bridal gowns for many hopeful brides. She was also very talented with arts and crafts. She enjoyed quilting and seemed to have a very creative flare. Other family than remain to cherish Lita’s memory are her children, Lita Ann Fucella, Jo Ann Giliberti and Charlie, Janet Oliver and David, Larry Fucella, Julie Fucella, Lu Ann Fucella; grandchildren, Joey Martin, Jill Benfield and Josh, Danielle, Shane Moran and Emma, Matthew Moran and Jackie, Jeremy Moran, Liam Oliver and Sierra, Justin Fucella and Ingrid, Jonathan Fucella, Timothy Giliberti, Adam Corbin, Brian Corbin; great grandchildren, Miles Martin, Anna Benfield, Kylie Moran, Ryan Moran, Jack Moran, Summer Moran, Bella Moran, Madeline Moran and Natalie Fucella. Lita left a legacy of love, devotion, a great sense of the importance of family, generosity and hospitality to anyone who came to her door. She loved life, laughed often, encouraged her children and grandchildren to be creative, to be true to themselves and always look for the best in others. She was, and always will be, well loved. The Fort Myers memorial Gardens has been entrusted with the care of Lita.
