Lloyd Lambert Parkes' Obituary
Lloyd Lambert Parkes of Riverview and formerly of Lehigh Acres, Florida passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Sunday, April 18, 2021 following some recent health challenges. He was 97 years old.
Lloyd was born in Cuba on June 19, 1923, the proud son to Edith Rebecca Robb and Moses Abraham Parkes. He spent the majority of his working life as an employee of Chase Manhattan Bank where he worked as a Trust Accountant until the time of his retirement. He was married to and leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Gledsie G. Parkes.
A Visitation for Lloyd will be conducted from 12:00-1:00 pm on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Lehigh, 200 Lee Blvd, Lehigh Acres, FL 33936. Immediately thereafter at 1:00 PM, also inside the church, a Funeral Service for Lloyd will be celebrated. There will be a processional from the church to Fort Myers Memorial Garden Cemetery directly following the service.
