Lloyd D. Williams' Obituary
Lloyd D. Williams of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away after some recent health challenges Sunday, July 17, 2016 in the care of Hope Hospice. He was 79. Lloyd was born February 22, 1937 in Auburndale, Florida to the late Ernest and Julia Williams. He was a retired manager for the Canada Dry Bottling Company. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Judy Oliver Williams (2012); son, Greg Williams (2001); daughter, Debbie Williams (2008) and a grandson, Danny Williams (2004). He is also preceded in death by two brothers, Harry Williams and Charles Williams and three sisters, Lucille Collier, Doris Marshall and Rosie Meadows. Lloyd is survived by two sons, Danny Williams (Rhonda) and Kevin Williams (Sue). He is also survived by his sister, Hazel Howze (the late Aaron Howze) and two brothers, E.J. Williams (Shirley) and Robert Williams (Jennie). Lloyd is also the grandfather of Cameron Williams, Shannon Perez, Gibson Williams, Alyssa Williams, Max Williams and McKenzie Williams. He is also survived by six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 10am-11am followed by funeral ceremony at 11am, Wednesday, July 20, 2016 in the chapel of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907. Immediately following the funeral ceremony, Lloyd will be laid to rest next to his wife, Judy, in the Christus Gardens section of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
