Lon B. Parton, 64, of Cape Coral, FL passed away on July 11, 2011 at Heritage Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Fort Myers, FL.?á Mr. Parton was born October 24, 1946 in Cleveland, TN a son of the late Lon Burl Parton and Mary Edna Hill.?á He was a construction painter by trade.?á Lon enjoyed fishing and was a New York Jet Football fan.?á He was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and had resided in Florida since 1962 coming from Tennessee.?á He is survived by his children, Jan (Mark) Cook of Bonita Springs, FL, Lonnie Parton of Woodword, PA and Jill Butters of Michigan; his grandchildren, Daniel Shepherd of CA and Sonya Shepherd and Shania Shepherd both of Arizona; his siblings, Judith (Ronnie) Lyles of Bonita Springs, FL, Gwen (Junior) Pell, Anne Sneed and Jeri Singleton all of TN. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at later date to be announced by the family.?á Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is assisting the family
