Loren C. Barnhouse's Obituary
Mr. Loren C. Barnhouse of Fort Myers, Florida and formerly of Royal Oak, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Winkler Court of Fort Myers. He was 84. He was born July 3, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan as the only son of the late L. Lester and Nellie Barnhouse. Loren was a veteran and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He began his career in the world of retail sales with Sears, Roebuck and Co. After 35+ years, he retired from Sears as a Division Manager. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela. Loren is survived by his loving wife of 45+ years, RoseMarie Barnhouse; his daughter, Beverly; 2 grandchildren, Peggy (Mike) Simon and Gale Kauffman and his 2 great grandsons, Anthony and Brayden. Graveside funeral services with USMC Honors will be 2 pm Thursday, March 3, 2016 at the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL 33907.
