Loren Hall's Obituary
Loren K. Hall, 92, of Fort Myers, passed away Monday, July 19, 2010. He was born January 24, 1918 in Lansing, MI and moved to Florida from Michigan 25 years ago. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II serving in the 975th Field Artillery Battalion. He was a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church, the V.F.W. and American Legion.Mr. Hall is survived by his wife of 67 1/2 years, Dorothy R. Hall; his children: Darlene LaHaie (Bill) of Lake Isabella, MI and Kathleen Hall of Glendale, CA; his grandson, Scott Silcox (Karen); his granddaughters: Tracy Marek (Brian) and Marcy Dekett (Devon). Also surviving are six great grandchildren; two brothers: Wilton Hall and Roger Hall (Caroline), two sisters: Shirley Hoogewerf and Peggy Krudup and numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 27 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907 with entombment to follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends will be received from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
