Lorenzo V Henderson's Obituary
Lorenzo V. Henderson, 82, was born on September 19, 1941, and lived the greater part of his life in
Fort Myers. He is survived by his beloved wife, Joyce. They shared 64 years of marriage and three
children, Deborah (Terry) O*Dowd, Dianne Ducharme, and Kimberly (John) Trotta. He also leaves
behind a grand daughter Lauren (Scott) Adema, and a great-grandson Ryan Adema.
He has two surviving brothers, Kenneth Henderson, and Harold (Butch) Henderson, a brother-in-
aw, William (Linda) Johnson, sisters-in-law, Patricia Johnson, and Cheryl (Kevin) Golden and his
cousin Cecil (Shirley) Henderson as well as many other nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his mother and father, Verrill and Ethel Henderson, three brothers, Gene
Henderson, Donald Henderson, Richard Henderson, and his brother-in-law Robert (Bob) Johnson.
Lorenzo loved to read and be outside working with plants. He was of a generous and kind heart and
optimistic in the way he lived his life. He never met a person that was not his friend. He had lots of
stories, and everyone enjoyed his reminiscing of things he did in his life. He will be missed dearly by
his family and friends.
Funeral services will be private. Interment will be at Fort Myers Memorial Garden Cemetery.
