Lori Hugenot's Obituary
Lori Hugenot of Ft. Myers Florida passed away suddenly but peacefully on Friday December 11, 2020 at Gulf Coast Hospital where she was hospitalized for recent health challenges. She lived with her youngest son Daniel and his family and was under their care since she moved here from Lansing, Michigan. She was 77 years old.
Lori was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 8, 1943. She was a longtime employee of Auto Owners Insurance. She was married to David Hugenot, who sadly preceded her in death in 2018. She had two sisters Beverly and Nellie and brother Charles who had also preceded in death many years prior.
She leaves behind her three sons Scott Luders (Patty)of Lehigh Acres, Fl. Michael Luders (Tracie Mccurdy) and Daniel Luders (Nicole) of Ft. Myers Florida. Two Stepchildren Scott Hugenot and Heather Hugenot Johnson of Cape Coral, Fl. Along with their adopted daughter Lexi Hugenot of Lansing, Michigan. She also had many loving grandkids and great grandkids and loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews as well. They all loved her very much and will really miss her.
Lori loved to cook. She is very well known for all the cookies that she would bake and mail out during the holidays. Nothing more famous then her cookies. She had a gentle spirit and caring heart. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.
Lori's final resting place will be with her husband at Sarasota National Cemetery. Arrangements are to follow after first of year.
