Lorraine Novak's Obituary
Lorraine Novak, 90, of Fort Myers, FL died April 29, 2017 at Shell Point Retirement Community. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM, Tuesday May 2, 2017 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33907. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Entombment will be at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to Boston Terrier Rescue of Florida, 4300 W. Lake Blvd, #1010-358, Lake Mary, FL 32746, 1(844) BEE-TEES, www.bostonrescueflorida.org. Lorraine was born June 15, 1926 in Cicero, IL the daughter of William and Anna (Novakauskas) Waisnoras. Surviving are her children James E. Novak and his wife Ronni of Naples, FL, Ann Marie of Tampa, FL; grandchildren Morgan and Maggie Novak, Alex and Kaitlyn Dibendetto, and Chelsea Johns. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, James F. Novak. Lorraine was an employee of General Electric in Chicago, IL and later served as a secretary for Harper Wyman, retiring in 1985. She was a volunteer for Health Park Medical Center and also at Shell Point Retirement Community. During her leisure time she loved spending her time in the sun and lounging by the poolside.
