Lorraine Statham's Obituary
Lorraine Statham, 75 of Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Savannah, GA passed away Monday, June 27, 2022 at her residence in Fort Myers, FL. She was born October 31, 1946 in Corona, NY to the late Alfred and Emilie (nee Skucca) Gapinski.
She spent her early years working as a deli manager at Winn Dixie and volunteering in many organizations, including the Optimist club. Lorraine loved to spend time with her family. She was especially close with her daughter Diana and her 2 grand daughters Samantha and Abby. And not a day went by that she didn’t treasure her time with her loved ones. She was grandma to everyone who knew her and she loved each one as they were her own. Always referred to as “G’ma or Grandma Lorraine. Everyone loved and adored her and the loss of her is going be felt by many for years to come . Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Statham; son, Shawn Statham; her granddaughter, Brianna and brother-in-law, William Rusich.
Lorraine is survived by her two daughters, Debbie Clark (Bill) of Fort Myers, FL and Diana Burch (Brian) of Fort Myers, FL; two sisters, Patrice Stewart (Kelly) of Palm Bay, FL and Barbara Rusich of Satellite Beach, FL; seven grandchildren, Bradley, Marco, Justin, Devon, Samantha, Tayla and Abby; as well as many extended family members and friends.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907.
