Louis Emil D’Amico, 86, a resident of Ft. Myers, FL since 2007, formerly of Stamford, CT passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018 in Ft. Myers, FL. He was born October 28, 1931 in Stamford, CT to Philip and Theresa (Panico) D’Amico, now deceased.Lou was a United States Army Veteran. He owned and operated the Deli Bake for 40 years with his two brothers. Lou always had a passion for cooking. He enjoyed spending his time with family and friends; especially horseshoes with his brothers and canasta with his wife and her friends.Lou is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Grace Ann D’Amico of Ft. Myers, FL; four children, Ronald Louis D’Amico (Sharon) of Murrells Inlet, SC, Theresa Lynn Vitatoe (Rick) of Cape Coral, FL, Janice Ann D’Amico Bemonte (William) of Stamford, CT and Phillip Peter D’Amico of Stamford, CT; brother, Philip D’Amico (Patricia) of Stamford, CT; 12 grandchildren, John, Megan, Rachel, Ryan, Phillip, Michael, Bianca, Frank, Jeffrey, Alec, Jennifer and Christa; one great grandson, Colin; as well as many nieces and nephews.Lou was preceded in death by his five siblings, Nancy, Josie, Dorothy, Rosalie and Peter.A Memorial Service will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Ft.
