Louis Edward Reynolds' Obituary
Louis Edward Reynolds, 88, of North Fort Myers, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2013. He was born December 29, 1924 in Oklahoma and moved to North Fort Myers from Fort Lauderdale in 1996. He retired from the U.S. Army following 23 years of service where he served in the Normandy Invasion during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion and McGregor Baptist Church. He also retired in 1992 from the State of Florida after many years of service. He loved music enjoyed playing his guitar, the organ and harmonica. Mr. Reynolds leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 28 years, Ruth E. Reynolds; his son, Brian Johnson of Cumming, GA and his two grandsons: Andrew and Evan. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 AM Friday, July 5, 2013 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with entombment to follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the U.S. Army. Friends will be received from 10:30 AM until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to McGregor Baptist Church.
