Louis Francis Van Buren, 81, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Joanne?ÇÖs House in Bonita Springs, Florida.?á Mr. Van Buren was born in Albany, New York on March 11, 1930, a son of the late Melvin Van Buren and Margaret Mullen Van Buren.?á Louis was employed for 18 plus years by Atlantic-Richfield and by Brink?ÇÖs Security for 10 plus years.?á He?á served his country proudly during the Korean War?áand was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy.?á He was devoted to his family especially his grandchildren.?á Louis was a former volunteer fireman for many years.?á He had resided here for the past 21 years coming from Liverpool, NY.?á He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Jeanne (Jan)?áVan Buren of ?áFort Myers, FL; ?áhis devoted children, son- Louis Francis Van Buren, Jr.?á and his wife Maureen and their children, Tara, Nicholas, Amie and Dana; ?áson-Jeffrey C. Van Buren and his wife Kimberly;?á daughter, Valerie L. Villanueva and her husband Julio and their children, Julio and Ana; son-Mark E. Van Buren and ?áhis children, Kyle and Connor; and son-Christopher P. Van Buren;?á Many great grandchildren.?á His brother, Thomas (Sonya) Van Buren of East Greenbush, NY and his sister, Delores ?áLeMorta of Albany, NY;?á There will be?áa visitation on Monday, January 9, 2012 from 4:00 to 5:00 PM at Fort Myers?áMemorial Gardens Funeral Home.?á?áA Celebration of?áLife?áService will follow at 5:00 PM.?á In lieu of flowers please send donations in his name to Joanne’s House Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs.?á Online condolences can be made to the family by visiting www.fortmyersmemorial.com.
