Louise Benton Glidewell's Obituary
Louise (Benton) Glidewell passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Friday, January 10, 2020, just minutes shy of her 87th birthday, while under Hospice care for some recent health challenges. She was virtually a life-long resident of the Fort Myers area having moved here from her place of birth in Olustee, Florida in her early youth. She was known by many, loved by alll and will be greatly missed.
A Funeral Service for Louise will be celebrated at 2:30 PM on Friday, January 17, 2020 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Friends will be received for Visitation for an hour prior to this service beginning at 1:30 PM also inside the funeral home chapel. At the conclusion of these ceremonies, friends and guests will recess to adjacent Memorial Gardens Cemetery where Louise will be laid to rest alongside her previously departed husband Clarence inside the Mausoleum located at the Garden of Peace.
