Luana Kay Hornbeck's Obituary
Luana Kay Hornbeck, 69, of North Fort Myers, passed away Friday, August 7, 2009 at 2:42 PM. She was born February 1, 1940 in Buchanan, MI and moved to North Fort Myers in 1999 from Kokomo, IN. While in Indiana, she was a member of Oakford Baptist Church where she served in the Senior Adult Ministry. She was also a very active member of McGregor Baptist Church in Fort Myers. Mrs. Hornbeck is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Wayne M. Hornbeck; her children: Debra J. Hawkins, David W. Hornbeck and Rebecca Willis; her sisters: Lanny Beatty and Lucinda Andreas, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Loretta Beatty and four siblings: Nona Beatty, John D. Beatty, Sheila E. Wyrick and Sonny Beatty. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 15, 2009 in the sanctuary of McGregor Baptist Church. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McGregor Baptist Church Library, 3750 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33966.
